- Ripping cleats safely on a table saw or with a circular saw
- Spacing chart for studs and cleat rows
- Six holder designs: chisels, saws, clamps, screwdrivers, bins, hammers
- How much each cleat holds
Better than pegboard
Pegboard hooks fall out every time you grab a tool. A French cleat holder sits on a 45° bevel and the weight of the tool locks it down. Lift it straight up and move it anywhere on the wall.
What it holds
Two 3-inch screws per stud, into four studs, holds more than you'll ever hang on a 4-foot cleat. The plan has the numbers.
