Why Every Plan Here Gets Built Twice

Demo content — Kerfline & Co. is a fictional woodshop. This site is a demo of the KeoCodes Site Engine: the maker, plans, prices, reviews and town stand in for a real shop's, checkout charges nothing, and nothing sent from here reaches anybody.
The first time I build something, I'm working from sketches. I find the joint that won't go together in the order I drew it, the board that's 1/4 inch too short, the step where you need a third hand.
The second time, I build only from the drawings, exactly as you will. If I have to look anything up or guess a measurement, the drawing is wrong and it gets fixed.
What that means for you
- Every measurement in a plan has been cut at least twice.
- The build order is the order that actually works, not the order that looks tidy on paper.
- When a plan says "this is the hard part," it's because it was the hard part both times.
Why some plans are free
The free ones teach the basics every other plan needs: square glue-ups, accurate crosscuts, a joint that holds. If you build the step stool and it doesn't rock, you're ready for anything here.
